Lastly, you'll need to load up on the frosting! You will need to separate white frosting into 4 bowls- and make sure to keep one all white. Add Purple, Green, and Orange food dye to one of each of the other bowls. From there, it's all up to you to be creative!
Melt the icing in the microwave and drip it all over the cake with a spoon. Repeat with all the colors, and then it's time to decorate. Don't be afraid to put too much candy on top! (There's no such thing as too much candy- especially at Halloween, right?)
Start with the Gumballs, then add in the Sixlets® evenly throughout the top! Lastly, add the pearls on top to create a wicked contrast, and place spiders and eyeballs all around for a super spooky Halloween Monster Cake!
To make the spooky cupcakes- just buy store-bought cupcakes, and decorate with spiders, and Color it Candy™ Gumballs and Sixlets®!

How about a Ghost Trick or Treat Bag Cake?! (No baking required!)
Our friends at Cutefetti made this BOO-tiful Halloween Ghost Trick or Treat bag using Color it Candy™! Check out her blog for the awesome details! A super quick, fun, and easy recipe to create with your kids- takes 20 minutes tops! (And no baking required!)
Creating this cake is super simple with Color it Candy™, all you need is a store bought cake, frosting, icing for the features, eyeball candy decorations, and of course, Color it Candy™! Find the specific list below:
Orange Gumballs
White Gumballs
Shimmer Lime Green Sixlets®
Shimmer Lavender Sixlets®
Shimmer Orange Sixlets®
Black Candy Pearls
First, begin with a frosted, but un-decorated rectangle cake (2 square cakes put together). You can start from the top OR the bottom! We recommend starting with the face to get it out of the way first, then decorate the outside of the top cake with the Orange Gumball "bag handles".
Next, add the "Halloween Candy" to the top of the Halloween Trick or Treat Bag! Using a variety of Color it Candy™ Sixlets® and Pearls, fill it up the way you want! Lastly, to top it off, add White Gumballs to the bottom of the ghost to create a cool ghost vibe.
That's it! The easiest (and cutest) DIY Halloween dessert ever! Thanks for the ideas @cutefetti.
